I had the best time with this company! I booked them for 3 days in the Amazon and had an amazing time and learned some great survival skills! The guide Rambo is an ex army officer who lived in the jungle in the Venezuelan amazon for months. He is a proper jungle man who has so much experience and a great sense of humour! I cannot recommend a better tour operator – quite frankly they are the best!"
I really enjoyed the Amazon Riders crew and the jungle tour I was on. Everyone was very friendly, thoughtful and thorough and they always ensured my safety was their number one priority. Amazon Riders worked hard to ensure my experience was the best it could be. I didn’t feel like I was just another customer. My experience is one I will cherish for a long time."
I just returned from a six day trip to the jungle with Amazon Riders (Anaconda expedition) and I am really really happy and satisfied. Our guide, Conrado, challenged us but he also always had an eye on our capability. Being a lady, he sensed when it was too much for me especially. The whole tour was really flexible and up to our needs. We could always say what we wanted and depending on the weather we made some changes. The highlights were to sleep in the deep jungle, staying one night with a local family, catching caimans and swimming at night in Juma lake. Everything was perfect!"
As a thrill-seeker, I searched many tour companies for a affordable jungle tour that would let me had some fun in the jungle. And I do not regret a bit of my decision to go with Amazon Riders. The tour was exactly as we agreed upon and contained lots of adventure besides the more touristy first day of the Anaconda package. If you are open minded and would like to have a genuine experience, interacting with the locals, this is the way to go."
This is certainly one for the books or perhaps the book itself! The people were incredible; you feel as though you are part of a family. The experience was incredible; saw and did so much. There is just no other way to describe it. Words cannot express my pleasure and satisfaction with this tour. The experience was amazing from the pickup at the airport in Manaus through living the jungle life in the Amazon."
Not the cheapest tour out there but definitely worth the extra money. I did a 4D/3N tour and it was a fantastic experience. I held a sloth, baby alligators, saw a snake eating a lizard, went spear fishing, and experienced all sorts of other things the Amazon forest has to offer. My guide Tonio was knowledgeable and laid-back; a great guy to hang out with. I think if this is your first time in the Amazon (like me), then this tour is a great introductory point to get acquainted with this vast jungle."
The lodge was small and fabulous (no luxury, obviously, but hey if you want that, stay in the city!), clean rooms, electricity, showers, good food, sweet hosts. We saw a lot of animals (monkeys, snakes, tarantulas, sloths, tucans and more). My guide Juma was amazing! Very caring, adventurous (he climbed trees to show us a snake and the sloth!!), and he definitely knows the area (he grew up there). I am convinced that this was the best way to experience the Amazon for the first time and it was worth every penny."
The tour was very well run and the guide ‘Nigel’ was fantastic. He knew so much about the jungle and the locals. He shared some great stories and was always willing to put in that little bit extra to make sure you were enjoying the tour. The jungle lodge was very comfortable, clean, nice beds with mozzie net and fan. There was electricity as well so you could charge your electronics and enjoy a nice cold beverage or Caipirinha at the end of the day."
Very nice spot in the forest with wild animals. Small group that leaves flexibility for the program. We had two fantastic guides who led us on amazing forest hikes and treated us to an evening around the fire, which was the best part of the program."
Since we were just 2 guys, Amazon Riders made sure we got a real adventure: we got the chance to catch Caiman ourselves, we caught piranhas, went spearfishing, put out a net, swam at night, ate everything we could find and spotted animals: it wasn’t like everything was done for us, as is usually the case. We had to push our own limits! Thanks again for a great memory that will stay on my mind for ever."
I spent 2 days and one night within the Jungle and slept at the Amazon Riders’ lodge. This experience was amazing, I totally recommend this agency. The people are great and the activities are amazing: fishing piranhas, seeing alligators and dolphins. This is a real break from the city’s atmosphere and if I could do it again, I would stay at least 4 days. Thanks Rafael!"
I went on a 5 day trip with Amazon Riders and I was blown away by all the new things we discovered. The lodge, located at a peaceful spot, is very tidy and the friendly manager and his wife serve amazing food (mostly freshly caught fish). The guides were very sociable and friendly, answered all the questions I had and accommodated the program according to my wishes. 10/10 would recommend!"
If you wear a tiara or are concerned of dirtying your posh sneakers, this tour is probably not for you. For those that are adventurous, enjoy close connections to nature, seek opportunities to view rare wildlife in their natural habitat, or just want to learn about some Amazonian ways of life, I highly recommend booking with Amazon Riders."
We came across a large boa snake and were able to touch it and hold it. What a special moment! But, my favorite moment was when we went to watch the dolphins over a beautiful sunset background and were able to jump in the water to swim with the dolphins. I just didn’t want it to end!"
One of the best prices and best organized tours! Michel was the best guide – an experienced army lad that made us always feel safe, he was kind of our Rambo in the jungle. Highly recommended and definitely the best way to see the Amazon!"
